ECON 280

Population and Economic Change is a course about how population changes impact the economy, and how the economy influences population processes.  We are going to use many of the concepts and techniques learned to interpret the current pandemic.

Each week you will read from the course text, watch short videos, and try practice questions to hone your skills and comprehension.  There are online office hours available in four different time slots.  Assessment consists of:

• six written assignments, two of which can be done as a group
• one real-time interview with the professor to discuss your assignments
• one final assessment in video format
