Anya Hageman

After receiving my PhD in Agricultural Economics at Cornell (1997), I moved back to Kingston and, after a few years at home with young children, began teaching at Queen's. I developed the current curricula of Econ 223 (MacroPolicy), 244 (Economics of Indigenous Communities) and 280 (Population and Economic Change).

At Queen's I serve with the Faculty Association and on various committees such as the Scholars at Risk Committee, raising awareness of and assistance for academics in danger abroad.

Selected Publications

I recently wrote "Economics Aspects of the Indigenous Experience in Canada" with Pauline Galoustian.  The book can be read, downloaded and shared from https://ecampusontario.pressbooks.pub/indigenouseconomics244
