ECON 222 - Macroeconomic Theory I

ECON 222

A study of the basic models of national income determination and financial markets. The course includes application of policy problems such as inflation, unemployment and balance of payments disequilibria.

Prerequisites: 
ECON 110 or [ECON 111 and ECON 112]

Corequisites: 
MATH 120 or MATH 121 or  [MATH 123 and MATH 124] or MATH 126

Additional Information: 
A minimum grade of C is required in ECON 222 to take the next level core course ECON 320. If you are taking calculus at the same time, you are strongly advised to take ECON 222 in the winter term so that you have at least some calculus background before beginning this course.
